It was announced this week on Twitter that Rilee Winters, a freshman at Pine City high school has committed to play for the Minnesota Golden Gophers women's hockey team starting in the 2022-23 season.
Rilee Winters plays defense for the Bluejacket girls hockey team. A combination of Cambridge-Isanti, Mora, and Pine City schools.
As an 8th grader last season, Winters scored eight goals and recorded 11 assists.
