A 28-year-old Oak Grove man is in serious condition after he allegedly led Wyoming Police on a high-speed chase that ended with him being ejected from his vehicle.
According to the police report, the chase began around 2:45 Sunday afternoon when a Wyoming Police Officer witnessed a vehicle driving recklessly and passing cars on the shoulder.
The chase continued from downtown Wyoming, northbound on Forest Blvd. where law enforcement attempted to use stop sticks on the vehicle before it continued north toward Rush City.
The suspect was later ejected from his vehicle just south of Highway 70 in Pine County after he lost control while trying to pass a vehicle causing the vehicle to roll.
He was taken by helicopter to a hospital for medical treatment. Police report chase speeds reaching 100 miles per hour.
