Authorities Search for Owners of Ice House that Fell Through Ice on Chisago Co. Lake

No one has been reported as injured after an ice house fell through the ice on Green Lake near Wyoming, Minn. over the weekend.

According to authorities, the 8 by 6 structure fell through on the southern part of the lake in Gleers Bay Saturday, and area fire departments responding to the scene along with the Chisago County Sheriff's Office.

After the responders arrived, it was determined that no one was in the ice house at the time of the incident.

Currently, the authorities are unable to determine the owner of the ice house. If you are the owner or if you know the owner, you are asked to contact Deputy Ron Istvanovich at 651-213-6348.

The Chisago County Sheriff's Office asks individuals to use extreme caution while out on the ice as conditions are extremely poor and can change in different areas of a lake.
