A construction worker is dead after a trench partially collapsed at a job site in the City of Lindstrom.
Responders were called to the construction site around 4:30 p.m. Tuesday, where construction workers at the scene were attempting to free the victim.
The 48-year-old man was eventually freed and was being taken by ambulance to a helicopter for air transport when he was declared dead.
The Lakes Area Police, OSHA, and Medical Examiners Office are investigating the incident.
