Burnett County Sheriff's Office investigating string of crimes between Webster, Siren

The Burnett County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a string of crimes that occurred between Thursday night and Friday morning.

According to a notice, authorities are asking residents who live between Webster and Siren on the Highway 35 corridor to check their properties and vehicles for damage or thefts.

Any incidents can be reported to the Burnett County Dispatch Center.

The sheriff’s office states that a potential suspect was taken into custody, but the investigation is open and active, and there is no threat to public safety.
