Pine City High School Students are expected to return to school four days a week starting later this month.
In a letter to parents, Superintendent Dr. Curt Tryggestad said the high school must stay in a hybrid model due to Pine County’s case rate, but with appropriate health and safety guidelines, a four-day week is an option.
The district will use February 22-23 as transition days so students can begin on Wednesday, February 24. Once students return, the district will use Wednesdays as "no student days."
Pine City Schools say that its long-range goal is to have students back in the classroom full-time by the first day of the fourth quarter, which is April 6, 2021.
