In a very good high school basketball game the Wolves were able to outlast the Dragons when the final buzzer sounded. "Milaca played great. We have to give them a lot of credit. We put them on the schedule knowing that they would help us prepare for the playoffs as they have a number of big, physical kids." Milaca jumped out to an 11-2 lead and still lead 34-33 at half time. "It took us a little bit of time to get going. We had some nice stretches where we played very well, but Milaca always had an answer." In the second half the Dragons led by as much as five points only to have Milaca regain the lead soon after. Milaca hit their free throws down the stretch when they needed too and secured the victory. Sophie Lahti had 26 points including 5 three pointers, 6 rebounds, 5 assists, 4 steals and 3 blocks.
