City hall survey closes this week

Your chance to have a say in the future of the Pine City, City Hall is closing soon.

A survey has been released by Pine City lets voters have their input on the building’s future.

The three options are to remodel, rebuild on the current site, or do nothing.

The voting ends tomorrow at 4:30.

Spring Celebration Event

A spring celebration event in North Branch is going on tonight.

This evening from 5-7, the North Branch Early Childhood and Community Education program is hosting an evening of live music and entertainment.

With a petting zoo, music from Andy Spofford, and food the event is put on from 5-7 pm.

The night is being held at the North Branch Education Center.

Art in the Park 2017

A popular outdoor event in Pine City is returning for 2017.

Art in the Park, coordinated by the Pine City Arts Council is back this summer.

A free music concert will be offered every Friday night at Robinson Park.

Meals will be served at 5:30 with the music at 6.

The first concert of the season is this Friday night, with the Pine City Jazz Band performing.

Helmet Headquarters

Firstlight Health System is giving away free bike helmets.

Through this Friday, children under age 10 receive a gift card or voucher for a free helmet in celebration of National Bike Safety Month.

To receive the helmet, simply stop by one of First Light’s 3 area campuses in Pine City, Mora, or Hinckley between 8 and 5.

The child must be present to get the bike helmet.
