Broadband Survey Available to Isanti County Residents

Like many citizens in rural areas, Isanti County residents sometimes don’t have good broadband options.

The county is currently doing its due diligence to amend the problem, especially in places where there are few options and high costs.

Isanti County wants input from its residents on what the current level of broadband quality is in the county, and also what the community’s needs are.

Three Twenty Brewing Company Opens to the Public

Pine City’s one and only brand new brewery welcomed crowds starting Friday afternoon.

Three Twenty Brewing Company propped open its doors Friday, where customers were lined up outside for their first chance at the local flavors.

Nick and Cassandra Olson own and operate Three Twenty Brewing Company, an undertaking long in the process.

Three Twenty will be open Thursdays, Fridays, and Saturdays going forward, from 4-10, 3-10, and 12-10, respectively.

They’re also offering an open food policy in addition to having a food truck periodically.

Webb Lake Lawsuit Accuses Local Lawmakers

A couple in Webb Lake in Burnett County have filed for a lawsuit against local officials and lawmakers.

They’ve requested a jury trial in a civil suit against Burnett County, a county sheriff Deputy, the town of Webb Lake, and its board chairman.

The couple is seeking punitive damages in amounts to be determined by the jury, as well as financial compensation for their attorneys’ fees and expenses.

New Judge Appointed in Isanti County

A new judge in Isanti County was appointed last week.

Judge John Klossner was sworn in in front of family as he began his service to Isanti County.

Judge Klossner most recently worked for the seventh and eighth judicial districts.

Klossner will join the 10th district which Isanti County is a part of as the 45th judge on the roster.
