A heavy storm in July of 2016 severely damaged the dam in Willow River.
Following the assessment of damage, the DNR and City of Willow River are working together to rebuild the dam.
Three options are currently being considered for the dam, and the two partners are holding an open house for the public to weigh in.
The options include replacement, removal, or restoration of the river channel.
The open house is being held Wednesday, December 6th at the Willow River School from 6:30 to 8:30 pm.
