Boys Hockey
The Dragons wrap up another successful season with an 11-3 victory over Cambridge-Isanti. Things started off very well for Pine City scoring right away. The Dragons ended the first period with a 6-0 lead. George Miller scored a natural hat trick just seven minutes into the game.
The Bluejackets had a major penalty called against them to end the period too and Pine City would capitalize on that scoring 4 goals on the power play. Three of those goals came from Jonah Bergstrom assisted by Jan Zahradka, a pairing the Dragon fans have come to know and love as the season has gone along.
Pine City would wrap up the game giving everyone on the bench equal playing time and say scoring from their top three lines. The Dragons end the season on a 13-game winning streak with a record of 20-5. They now wait their first round playoff opponent. Their section seeding meeting is this Sunday.
