A woman from Superior is dead following a single car crash near Stacy on Saturday.
The driver of the SUV, 24-year-old Iman Abdullah of Superior died after she overcorrected, went into the ditch on I-35 near Stacy, and ejected both occupants. The passenger sustained non-life threatening injuries and was taken to Regions for medical treatment.
Neither of the women were wearing seat belts at the time of the crash and it’s unknown whether alcohol played a role in the crash.
