Yesterday's primary election was one of the most competitive in recent history. The races for Minnesota's Governor, Senate, and Congress were stacked with candidates.
The 2018 primary also saw a record number of people heading to the polls with close to 30 percent of Minnesota's population voting on August 14. East central Minnesota followed along with this trend as Carlton, Chisago, Isanti, Kanabec, and Pine County all saw an increase in voter registration since the 2016 election.
Below is a breakdown of the election results.
