The Minnesota State Patrol listed snow and ice covered roads as a factor in a fatal crash Thursday morning.
The driver has been identified as 88-year-old Junior Milton Krippner from Cromwell.
Krippner was driving his 2004 Dodge Dakota south on I-35 when he lost control of the vehicle and rolled into the median, landing on its roof.
The crash occurred just before 8 a.m. on I-35 at Highway 23.
