The man wanted in a May Chisago County shooting is now in custody.
According to the Chisago County Sheriff's Office, Nicholas Isaiah Antoine James was wanted after he and two other suspects allegedly invaded a home in the Sunrise Township and shot its occupant.
The two teenager who accompanied James were arrested by authorities soon after the incident; however, James managed to evade capture.
He was later arrested in St. Paul on Thursday, June 6 by Chisago County Investigators, St. Paul Police, and St. Paul SWAT.
James is currently being held in the Chisago County Jail on charges of attempted 1st-degree murder and aiding and abetting aggravated robbery.
