Updated: 3 days ago

A four-vehicle crash on northbound I-35 near the Wyoming exit shut down traffic for nearly two hours on Friday afternoon.

According to the Minnesota State Patrol, an unknown vehicle cut in front of traffic, causing a rear-end style chain reaction crash.

A passenger car was hit by a truck with a trailer, which was hit by another truck with a horse trailer.

Another passenger vehicle was also involved in the crash.

One driver was transported from the scene with minor non-life-threatening injuries, and none of the animals in the horse trailer — four or five horses and three dogs — were injured.

The roadway was shut down from approximately 3:50 p.m. to 5:40 p.m.
