A Hinckley man is facing five charges in Pine County District Court related to illegally hunting animals, including the federally protected gray wolf.
According to the criminal complaint, a DNR conservation officer was contacted by a concerned citizen regarding suspicion of Brady Harth illegally trapping in January.
An investigation followed, including multiple search warrants to obtain social media records.
In September of 2021, Harth posted photos of himself posing with a bow and deceased bear on his Facebook account. Records show he had not purchased a bear license.
The complaint states Harth also sent photos of himself with a dead gray wolf and a rifle in October of 2021.
He also allegedly hunted a buck without a deer archery license in September of 2022.
Harth faces three gross misdemeanor counts and two misdemeanor charges. He’ll make his first appearance in court on Dec. 9.
