Pine County Sheriff's Office locates missing man

Update: Imes was located safely on Wednesday, according to the Pine County Sheriff's Office.

The Pine County Sheriff’s Office is seeking the public’s help in locating a missing man.

According to the alert, 39-year-old Daniel Madison Imes left a group home in the 34000 block of Settlers Pond Drive in Sturgeon Lake on foot around 6 p.m. on Tuesday, Aug. 13.

Authorities say he was seen walking through backyards a short time later, but has not been seen since.

Imes is described as six-foot-one and weighing 171 pounds, with brown hair and blue eyes. He was last seen wearing a red shirt and black/gray pants, and walks with a limp.

Authorities are concerned about his welfare, because he does not have a cell phone or access to a vehicle or money.

Anyone with information about Imes’ whereabouts is asked to contact the Pine County Sheriff’s Office.
