Two horses are safe after they needed to be yanked from a swamp in Isanti County on Wednesday. Crews were dispatched by the Isanti County Sheriff's Office to the Wayside Prairie Park in Bradford Township around 6:00 p.m. In a statement posted online, the rural location caused responders to use wide straps and "some good old fashioned muscle" to get the horses unstuck. Women Charged in the Assault of Braham Infant
A 21-year-old woman has been charged in the assault of an 18-month-old boy in Braham. The Isanti County Attorney's Office has charged Alicia Dolores Mohrland with first-degree assault. A home near Cambridge was destroyed by fire Wednesday. The Cambridge Fire Department was called to a building on the 2000 block of 337th Lane NW at 1:38 p.m. At the scene, responders found the house fully engulfed by flames.
