An 11-year-old boy was left in serious condition after he and another boy were attacked while attempting to remove a dog from a kennel in the Bradford Township near Cambridge.
According to the Isanti County Sheriff, law enforcement was called to a home on the 3000 block of 299th Avenue NW Wednesday Morning.
There, investigators learned that the two boys were attacked after trying to remove a dog from an outdoor kennel while the homeowner was away.
WCCO reports that one boy was taken via helicopter to the Children's Hospital in Minneapolis while the other was treated at a local hospital for minor injuries.
The dog is currently being quarantined due to state statute, and the incident remains under investigation by the Isanti County Sheriff's Office.
