Shelter-in-place order lifted after man found dead in Wyoming incident

The Wyoming Police Department is investigating an incident where a suicidal male was found deceased after shots were fired from a home and a shelter-in-place order was issued to area residents.
According to a news release from the department, authorities responded to a report of a suicidal male at a residence in the 6200 block of Forest Boulevard Trail around 7:50 p.m.
Family members reported that the male party was intoxicated and threatened to harm himself, and was alone inside the residence.
The release states that during the incident, the male made statements to friends threatening to shoot responding officers, and gunfire was discharged from inside the residence shortly after 9 p.m.
A shelter-in-place order was issued to area residents after nearby homes were struck by bullets shortly after 9 p.m.
Law enforcement's efforts to establish contact with the male were unsuccessful. The Chisago County Emergency Response team was deployed to the scene, and tactical resources, including a drone, were utilized to enter the residence.
At about 11:10 p.m., the male was located inside the residence and confirmed to be deceased.
The Wyoming Police Department is investigating the incident.
