Dragons coach Unverzagt with an update! Pine City hosted Pequot Lakes tonight and had a great 6-1 win.  The girls continue to improve each time we step on the court and we look forward to a fun week of matches.

Coach Unverzagt updates us on their rained out match. Mora traveled back to Pine City tonight to finish our first doubles and fourth singles matches. 

Head Coach Unverzagt tell us about the teams match vs Mora. We moved our match with Mora to tonight to try and beat the rain, but we were unable to finish our first doubles and fourth singles matches.  We had a 5-0 lead but the rain halted our efforts.

Dragons HC Kristin Unverzagt tell us about the teams trip to Little Falls! The Varsity and JV tennis teams traveled to Little Falls on Tue. Sept. 16.  They had a strong showing and it was awesome for both teams to travel and cheer each other on.

Pine City hosted East Central on Tuesday night. It was a special night for both these teams, as this was their annual Pink Out game. A game in which they spread awareness for cancer as well as raise money.

Head Coach Kristin Unverzagt tells us about their trip to Hibbing! The Dragons had a strong weekend on the courts as they battled hard in Hibbing and Virginia!

The Dragons welcomed in the Wolverines on Friday night. Pine City came into the evening having lost two games, in which they feel like they could've won. Tonight's game would be another opportunity for them to do such. The weather made things quite messy, but isn't it everyone's dream to play under the lights on their home field in the mud? Well maybe not everyone, but for some it is.

Dragons Head Coach Kristin Unverzagt gives us the details on the teams win over Pierz! The Pine City Dragons had a strong showing with a 5-2 win over Pierz.  The girls have been working hard to build their skills and grow their game.  This was shown with strong and well played matches across the line up.  The team did a good job setting up their points and staying in the points.

The girls tennis team had a strong showing as we battled Princeton and came out with a 6-1 win.  We continue to improve each time we step on the court.  I am so proud of the girls as we navigate wind, rain, and little time to practice as we make up matches.  They are learning each time they play and continue to get stronger.

Lady Dragons tennis HC Kristin Unverzagt gives us an update from their Friday match and Saturday's quad. The girls tennis team lost a close fought battle but fell short with a 3-4 loss to Foley.   Brooke Boland dominated and dictated her match with a decisive win to gain our team the first point of the match. 

Pine City welcomed Braham on Thursday night. Both teams were looking for their first conference win of the year. Pine City hadn't won a game yet, and Braham had won 2.

Pine City hosted Proctor in a volleyball match Tuesday. As the new school year began the volleyball season rolled on. Pine City had the benefit of hosting a game after the first day of school.

The Dragons hosted Milaca on Friday night. Both these teams were looking to head into the weekend with a win. Pine City came off a hard fought loss to Rush City, Milaca came in having beat Little Falls 3-0.

Pine City Girls Tennis HC Kristin Unverzagt tells us about their latest match against North Branch! The girls' tennis team hosted North Branch for a great match and strong win!  The girls came ready to play and continue to improve each time we step on the court to beat a strong North Branch team.

The Dragons hosted Hibbing on Thursday night. There were a few guys out of the lineup for Pine City, and even a few guys playing in new spots. It was evident early on sadly, the offense had some bad snaps which nearly lead to multiple turnovers. Luckily they were able to fall on the ball and keep possession.

Coach Kristin Unverzagt gives us a look at the teams match vs Becker. The Dragon tennis team traveled to Becker to play a tough match tonight.  We lost a close 3-4 battle but continue to show improvement. 

Lady Dragons HC Kristin Unverzagt shares how the quad was going for her team, before the rain ended the day. The Dragon girls had a strong start to the day, but the rain cut our day short. We started the day strong with a 5-2 win over White Bear Lake.  The girls came ready to play and worked hard this week to improve and get stronger each day at practice.

What a day we had yesterday!  After waiting out multiple rain delays and drying the courts, we were able to get two out of the three matches in but the last match finished in the dark!

Dragon Girls Tennis Head Coach Kristen Unverzagt gives us a look at some pre season matchups went for her squad. The girls tennis season is off to a fun start with our first day of match play in St. Peter.  The pres-season matches are a good opportunity to try different line ups and gain experience.  The girls have high goals to build off of from last season.
